Wentworth Woodhouse Timelapse film

One of the most impressive Heritage construction jobs Stag Communications has worked on, was the renovation of Wentworth Woodhouse near Rotherham. With a facade 618ft long, it is one of the most imposing heritage properties in the Country.

The initial phase of roof repairs commenced in 2017, funded by a £7.6 million government grant. This phase focused on urgent works across the site, including the Riding School, the mansion's Bedlam Wing, and the Chapel, and was completed by January 2020. Phase 2 began in 2019, concentrating on the roof over the State Rooms and the central block of the mansion. This phase involved repairing roofs covering an area equivalent to three football pitches, making the majority of the Palladian-style East Front watertight. The project, costing £5.5 million, was completed in October 2021, despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Wentworth woodhouse timelapse film that Stag communications produced follows the several years of renovation on the Central Block. During construction, one of the biggest scaffolds in the UK at the time covered the entire building to ensure it stayed water tight.

Our filming utilised time-lapse, drone and ground based video to follow the project from start to finish.
