Birmingham based charity, St Basils is an extraordinary charity based in the West Midlands whom we have had the pleasure of working with through our work with Equans.
St Basils repurpose buildings which would otherwise go unused to house young people who would be at risk of homelessness. The housing they provide is affordable, yes very comfortable, to give young people a sense of place and somewhere they can call home.
For this particular project, Equans helped the St Basils charity renovate 3 buildings which had been derelict for some some. Turning them into 54 amazing apartments which will make young people's live better.
We were lucky enough to be involved from the start to see the amazing transformation from damp, derelict former nurses accomodation to bring and airy apartments which will help support those who need it most.
