Showcasing modern engineering at it's best. Stag Communications was commissioned to capture the install of the new canal bridge in Stevely, Chesterfield.
This project signifies a significant upgrade to the canal infrastructure in the area. It was important to beyond consulting in Nottingham to showcase this incredible project. We love creating video production in Chesterfield is, utilising timelapse and drone filming techniques to capture the project install
The installation of the new bridge was a complex process, involving meticulous planning and coordination. To convey the magnitude and intricacy of this endeavor, Stag Communications employed timelapse photography, a technique that compresses hours, days, or even months of work into a concise visual narrative. This method allowed viewers to witness the entire construction process—from the initial groundwork to the final placement of the bridge—in just a few captivating minutes.
Timelapse photography is particularly effective in highlighting the progression of large-scale projects. By capturing images at set intervals, it provides a unique perspective on the project's development, revealing patterns and sequences that are imperceptible in real-time.
For the Staveley bridge installation, this approach showcased the seamless coordination between various teams and the transformation of the site over time.
To complement the ground-level time-lapse footage, we integrated drone filming into our documentation strategy. Drones offer unparalleled aerial views, capturing the scale and context of construction projects in ways traditional cameras cannot.
